Thanks to this infographic report, we can now get an idea of what the most sought after keywords are and how much advertisers are paying to rank for them. The most competitive keywords are:
- Legal keywords make up for the highest costing keywords, at roughly $400 to $600+ per click for keywords like “sell settlement” and location based attorneys.
- Water damage is also at the top of the list, with keywords costing upwards of $300 per click for terms like “denver water damage” and “flood restoration chicago”.
- Insurance is third on the list, with keywords solidly in the $300 range, while “Drugs and Alcohol” are ranking on the list at a few hundred dollars per click for local drug rehab facilities.
- Of all the keywords on the list, 58% are based on location sensative keywords — with California, Florida, Colorado and Texas being the major points of interest.
